El estilo escultórico es figurativo expresionista, donde la construcción se basa más en las leyes físicas que en las leyes de la anatomía clásica. Es fundamental en el manejo de la materia lograr que se sienta energizada — que las tensiones y los espacios respondan a esas leyes naturales, no a una simplificación de la forma.
The sculptural style is figurative expressionist, where construction relies more on physical laws than on classical anatomy. It's essential, in handling the material, to make it feel energized — for the tensions and spaces to respond to those natural laws, rather than a simplification of form.
Piezas modeladas en arcilla, terminadas en resina y polvo de bronce. Cada una forma parte de un momento de tránsito: el instante justo antes o después de un umbral.
Pieces modeled in clay, finished in resin and bronze powder. Each belongs to a moment of transition — the instant just before or after a threshold.
Muestra el momento en que cambio de camino: dejar atrás una carrera formal como abogada para dedicarme a la escultura. La figura estilizada, suspendida casi ingrávida sobre la punta de los pies, con la cabeza inclinada hacia atrás, transmite una dualidad entre la ligereza y la melancolía.
Surgir shows the moment I changed course — leaving behind a formal career as a lawyer to devote myself to sculpture. The stylized figure, suspended almost weightless on the tips of her toes, head tilted back, holds a duality between lightness and melancholy.

Surge de mi retorno a la Argentina después de vivir varios años en el exterior. Protegerme para seguir firme hacia delante — ¿protegerme de qué? ¿del entorno, de mis propios pensamientos?
Protegida emerged after my return to Argentina, following years living abroad. Protecting myself to keep moving forward, steady — protecting myself from what? From my surroundings? From my own thoughts?
La figura avanza con intensidad; no está paralizada, decidió avanzar a toda costa. La protección es mucho más que un paraguas: es casi un refugio.
The figure advances with intensity; she isn't frozen, she has decided to move forward no matter what. The protection is far more than an umbrella — it's almost a refuge.

Como una madre lanzando a su hijo a la vida, como un arco lanzando la flecha: el impulso de soltar y, a la vez, la resistencia a dejar ir. Captura el instante exacto en que el vínculo —esa línea horizontal larga y tensa— todavía une, mientras ya empieza a separar.
Like a mother launching her child into life, like a bow releasing an arrow: the impulse to let go, and at the same time, the resistance to doing so. It captures the exact instant when the bond — that long, taut horizontal line — still holds, even as it begins to release.

La figura, estirada hacia atrás y tomándose el pie, conecta brazos y piernas de manera que el cuerpo y el espacio vacío en el centro materializan la idea de un ciclo que se completa a sí mismo. El rostro y el torso transmiten suspensión, casi flotación — cerrar un ciclo requiere esfuerzo, pero el resultado es quedar liberado, listo para lo que sigue.
The figure, arched backward and holding her own foot, connects arms and legs so that the body — together with the empty space at its center — gives shape to a cycle completing itself. The face and torso convey suspension, almost flight. Closing a cycle takes effort, but the result is release: suspended, free, ready for what comes next.
Se aleja de la estética pulida e industrial del "superhéroe" de la cultura pop: es una superheroína hecha de tierra, fuerza visceral y texturas orgánicas. Su poder no viene de un traje tecnológico, sino de una fortaleza interna y natural — densa, texturada, profundamente humana.
This piece moves away from the polished, industrial aesthetic of the pop-culture "superhero." This is a superheroine made of earth, visceral strength, and organic texture. Her power doesn't come from a technological suit, but from an inner, natural strength — dense, textured, deeply human.
El tratamiento de la materia energizada capta la luz de forma intermitente, aportando una vibración constante, como si estuviera cargada de energía interna.
The energized handling of the material catches light intermittently, giving the piece a constant vibration, as if charged with inner energy.
Un torso reducido a su volumen esencial: curvas que se pliegan sobre sí mismas, sin referencia anatómica explícita. La superficie blanca, mineral, deja que la luz recorra la pieza y revele su forma según el ángulo desde el que se mira — cada vista propone una lectura distinta del mismo cuerpo.
A torso reduced to its essential volume: curves folding into themselves, without explicit anatomical reference. The white, mineral surface lets light travel across the piece and reveal its form depending on the angle — each view offers a different reading of the same body.
